Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Natalie Caraballo discovered her passion for politics as a freshman in college, pursuing a double major in Public Relations and Political Science at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. In 2016 Natalie moved to Washington, DC to intern in the Communications Office of Senator Harry Reid. Upon completing her internship, Natalie joined the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, serving as an organizer in Alexandria, Virginia.
Natalie strongly believes that women need and deserve stronger political empowerment at earlier stages in their lives, which is the reason she joined the Running Start team as an Operations Assistant. Eager to learn and use her lively energy and skills, Natalie’s dream is to see and help elect more women to power back home.
Currently, Natalie volunteers for two Puerto Rican diaspora organizations, aiming to empower civil society in Puerto Rico. In her free time, she likes to learn German and discover new cities around the United States and the world.
