Prior to working in politics, she worked in fundraising for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Gallery of Art.

Louisa holds a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Alabama and an Executive Masters in Leadership from Georgetown University. She proudly serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for The Aged Woman’s Home of Georgetown, founded in 1868.

She and her husband, Nathan Imperiale, reside in Spring Valley and love traveling, entertaining, and being parents.
