Mentoring Young Women on their Path to Politics
Running Start knows that for young professional women, there is nothing more valuable than connecting with accomplished women in their field. Off the Record is an exciting new networking and mentoring series, in partnership with Humana, that provides our alumnae and members access to essential mentorship opportunities to help them on their path to politics.
Off the Record consists of 4 networking happy hours and 4 exclusive mentor dinners per year where mentors can share experiences and mentees can establish contacts that will help them on their path to politics.
Mentor Dinners (members-only):
Mentor dinners are hosted by high-profile women in their homes, and allow young women the opportunity to connect with potential high-level mentors in a small setting. Each dinner invites high-level women from a particular area of politics including: women chiefs of staff, women elected officials, executive branch leaders, business executives, and behind the scenes stars. These dinner are open exclusively to Running Start members and space is available on a first come first serve basis.
Off the Record networking receptions allow our growing network of young women to connect with each other and with more established women in our network. Networking happy hours are open to all and Running Start members receive their first drink free.
